Complex notes of flowers, apples, and citrus: it sounds like a wine tasting, but this is how the scent of a bottle of shampoo is achieved.
Shampoos with intoxicating scents use the same process as that used by the greatest perfume creators: we assemble essential oils extracted from flowers, fruits, and plants, then combine them with the shampoo.
Many elements come into play
The process is complex, and three layers are necessary for creating the ideal scent:
Top notes: these are the ones you'll smell in the shower. With their small molecules, they fill the air faster when hot water touches them.
We use wild strawberries and juicy melon as well as jasmine flowers and refreshing ginger. So, when water touches and activates the molecules, you get an incredible scent in the shower.
Heart notes: these slightly heavier molecules round out the scent and fragrance your hair during rinsing.
Base notes: these are the largest molecules in the fragrance, which come into play when your hair dries. These notes, the most long-lasting of any fragrance, remain in your hair to give it an intoxicating scent all day long.
Choose your fragrance
The number of fragrances that can be added to a shampoo is infinite. We have developed many, such as Green Apple or Citrus Breeze, and have even added a masculine fragrance to our Old Spice shampoo.
