FAQ : WHAT CAUSES AN ITCHY SCALP, AND HOW DO YOU TREAT IT?

Head and Shoulders

Itchy scalp can be a sign of a dandruff problem. It is one of the most annoying and unpleasant side effects of dandruff, and one of the most common too (two out of three people complain of an itchy scalp).

Itching is often the reaction of an irritated scalp. And this scalp irritation, accompanied by redness, can come from the microorganism responsible for dandruff, Malassezia Globosa.

To combat an itchy scalp, you must act on the very origin of the irritation. In the case of dandruff, an anti-dandruff shampoo should be used to soothe the scalp and stop the process.

We have designed our Itchy Scalp Care shampoo to relieve itching. It contains refreshing extracts of mint and eucalyptus, as well as Head & Shoulders' patented anti-dandruff ingredients, for a finally soothed, healthy scalp and dandruff-free hair.
